Autumn/Winter 2008 has an eclectic mix of prints, playful patterns, and wonderful textures. This season’s colours are Purple, Chocolate, Green, Pink and Turquoise. Delightful dresses, warm winter coats, printed smocktops, and trousers create the Skysprout look.

Skysprout and his crew sew each stitch with love, care and attention to detail together they create clothes that children love to wear, and clothes that parents love to watch their children to grow in.

So they ran as fast as their six legs would carry them, grass up to their waists, it took several minutes to reach the meadow where Skysprout lived. ‘Skysprout, Skysprout’, shouted Noear, not stopping to say hello or how are you? “We want to start making clothes can you help us make clothes, we need your help?’

Skysprout pondered a moment he could be quite studious at times, ‘Hmm’ he said as he rubbed his antler on a tree limb. ‘Clothes’.‘Yes, yes, yes’ they both yelled, being such a mild-mannered deer he agreed to help. ‘But on one condition’, he said. ‘Anything, anything you like’, they squealed. ‘All the clothes must have my name sewn in the back neck, you know like in your school uniform’. They didn’t stop to ask why or question, they just agreed…. They both chanted in unison ‘We’ll call it Skysprout!’ as if it was their very own idea.
The trio was full of crazy thoughts, some good, some brilliant and some even better than that. They thought the world of fashion was wonder-magical! ‘Fun, and bright, lots of pattern, stripes, flowers oh and a bit of paisley, I like paisley. Not too glittery or sparkly’. Skysprout could be a little dull at times. ‘Modern’ said Creampuff. Creampuff lived in a rather sparsely furnished barn, hence her rather minimalist and modern tendencies. Then she added ‘But they have to be able to get muddy and lick clean easily. They’ve got to be comfortable’, that’s what my Grandma Cupcake always says. ‘And warm’… ‘You can always layer them up if you’re cold’ spouted Skysprout. What a brilliant idea thought Creampuff.

Noear chirruped up, ‘When you’re a bit out of stuffing, they have to make you feel good when you put them on. How do we do that? asked Noear. Skysprout, his antlers towering skywards nearly touching the woolly white clouds, spoke his wise deer wisdom, ‘Make them with love and you’ll always feel the difference’ ‘Oh yes’ spoke Noear, ‘I always feel better when I put on a teacosy hat my Great Aunt Sawdust Heart knitted me’.
